ARC – Alarm Response Center is also called remote building surveillance. ARC processes are based on signal being transmitted from electronic security systems, which constantly monitor the building. Physical surveillance provides a possible alternative or a suitable support to the alarm response center.
How Alarm Response Center Operates
Connection to the ARC happens in a form of data transfer through digital communication formats, which enables complete transfer of the situation generated by the monitoring security systems or in a form of the transmission of status signals, or when needed, the combination of the two. Data obtained from monitoring systems are transferred to the security center and the alarm response center – ARC, where they are evaluated and in case of any abnormality of the situation detected in the monitored building it initiates a response based on the contract (sending of a patrol or forwarding of the information to a service organization, or to the Czech police and selected persons).
